This is one of my favorite portraits. I remembered when I traveled to a foster home in Haiti, I found this child posing for the camera in a really different way. Understanding that they might not be able to react to a distinctive camera such as mine, she still just arched her fingers and shouted “rawr”. It was nothing less than adorable and to this day it still warms my heart. What a beautiful child she was regardless of all the dirt on her face, clean water is still very scarse there.

One day I’ll find that toy story wallpaper and then redo my whole room.
